Our Mission
VisionWay Christian School exists to develop students morally, intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually so they will become responsible, godly members of their families, churches, and communities.
Our History
The leadership and congregation ofTaylorville Christian Church (TCC) developed a passion in the 1980s to provide a quality Christian education to school children. That passion grew from a dream to a plan for the first preschool class and VisionWay Christian School (VCS) was born. TCC’s commitment to the area youth has flourished into our present-day VCS.
1985
Preschool Started
VisionWay Christian Church added a Preschool and called it Taylorville Christian Preschool
1994
Kindergarten Added
Kindergarten was added and the name changed to VisionWay Christian School
1995
First - Eighth Added
1st – 8th Grades were then added, upping the staff and becoming a strong presence
Taylorville Christian Church
VisionWay Christian School is a ministry of Taylorville Christian Church. As with our staff and students, the ministry team at Taylorville Christian Church encourages members to grow in their faith as they follow closely after Christ.
